Thailand Live-In Retreats
- Trillium accepts 2-4 persons/year for private & sacred retreat experiences at her home in Thailand
- The live-in retreat is a highly tailor-made experience, where Trilium uses her trainings, gifts and decades of personal practice to assess the client's current state and aspirations, in order to create a specific program with the intention of reaching the goal of Joyous and Nourished Living
- The client is invited to share their wishes, intentions, objectives and goals for the period in terms of practices and overall aim of the retreat
- The retreat includes daily sessions with Trillium - a combination of Transformational Guidance, Qi Gong, grounding and tension releasing practices and sometimes day-adventures to sacred places or a sacred ritual - always with the main purpose of consciously applying tools, techniques & insights gained in daily life
- Cost depends on length of the retreat (7 - 28 days) as well as overall agreed focus & intended outcome
Trillium's personal Live-in Retreat experiences
- Trillium has been fortunate to live in several spiritual centers, ashrams, temples and monasteries for different lengths of time (Shaolin Temple Europe 6 months in 2020; Mooji ashram 10 months in 2017/8; 1 year in Chogyam Trungpa's Redfeather Lake center 2006/7 and 4 years with a Heart Tantra teacher in Colorado and Hawaii during 2000-2010, to mention a few)
- She discovered how transformative and powerful it is to live intimately immersed with others that practice the same methods, techniques and awareness applications and how it helps and supports our moment-to-moment living with tools and practises we learn. Sometimes we may loose awareness, and drop out of the practise without realising. By osmosis, in immersed living settings, we get reminded of others 'being' within the practice (not by talking with words) - and this 'installs' deeply a more true integration of the practices... Walking the walk, instead of talking the talk!
- Personal, ongoing attention by a teacher in a live-in setting allows for very tailor-made guidance moment by moment (rather than following standardised programs and practices) which can speed up the clearing of obstacles and cultivating awakening
- Finally - continuous, direct and personal attention by a teacher means that the 'ego' has nowhere to hide! Hence, this approach is suited for those determined to reach a high degree of clarity and awakened expression. At the same time, it requires the 'matured perspecitve' that challenges and triggers arise from the 'mirroring' quality of the teacher/guide - as an actual blessing to clear out the basement of remaining dust, rather than becoming absorbed in the pain/suffering that might arise in a triggered moment, or assigning blame to outside circumstances
