The live-in experience is a highly tailor-made experience. Trilium draws upon her many trainings and decades of practice to assess the client and create a specific program to aid the participant in the very best ways possible, with the objective of reaching the ultimate goal of
Joyous and Nourished Living
The client is invited to share their wishes, goals and objectives for the period in terms of practices and overall aim of the retreat
The retreat includes daily sessions with Trillium -
sometimes Transformational Guidance; sometimes Qi Gong or another body practice; sometimes a day-adventure to a sacred place on the island for a ritual or practice or simply to practice applying the techniques & insights gained

Trillium has been fortunate enough to live in a variety of spiritual centers, ashrams, temples and monasteries for various lengths of time (Shaolin Temple Europe 6 months in 2020; Mooji ashram 10 months in 2017/8; 1 year in Chogyam Trungpa's Redfeather Lake center 2006/7 and 4 years with a Heart Tantra teacher in Colorado and Hawaii during 2000-2010 to mention a few).
Having this opportunity showed her how transformative and powerful such style of living can be. There is a significant effect from living intimately immersed with others practicing the same methods, techniques and awareness applications - it helps one find the way back to the practice whenever 'lost' or having momentarily forgotten to apply it in our moment-to-moment living; ie having dropped out of the practise without realising it. By osmosis, others around us end up 'reminding us' - by demonstrating through 'Being' the practice (not by talking with words) - and this in turn 'installs' a more deeply 'automated application' of the practices themselves
Also, personal and prolonged attention by a teacher in a live-in setting allows for very tailor-made guidance moment by moment (rather than following standardised programs and practices) which can both speed up the clearing and awakening, as well as making it somewhat easier and gentler
Finally - continuous, direct and personal attention by a teacher means the 'ego' has nowhere to hide! So this approach are suited for those that are determined to reach a high degree of clarity and awaken expression and calls for an understanding that challenges and triggers arising from the 'mirroring' quality of the teacher/guide is actually a tremendous blessing, rather than becoming lost and absorbed in the pain/suffering that might arise in a triggered moment
